The design of Rock Berth structure constructed with precast concrete blocks that will be used for exporting rocks using barges of sizes between 6000 DWT to 10000 DWT carriers
The system is a 220.50 m long quay wall, where the top of cope beam is at +4.60 level and the bottom of the base block is at -5,90 level respectively. The wall will intended to be constructed with precast plain concrete blockwork, where as the wall will be completed with a cast in-situ concrete capping beam over the blocks. The wall will be founded on a rubble layer foundation.
