EXPERIENCE :
Minimum 5 years with at least 2 years spent on site. Experience in the following are also considered an advantage:

  • Working in a healthcare environment
  • Condition and dimensional surveying of existing structures
  • Surveying of existing sewer networks
  • Waste water treatment plants
  • Concrete rehabilitation
  • Report Writing
  • Digital Photography
  • Saudi Arabian Building Codes

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :
B.E (Structural or Civil)

SPECIAL TRAINING / SKILL :
Candidates must have excellent Written and Spoken English as well as the ability to carry out and record building surveys. They should have AutoCAD and Microsoft Office proficiency as well as knowledge of building & site structural & civil engineering systems.

ANY OTHER REQUIREMENT :
Prepared to travel within Saudi Arabia

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Studies & understands scope of work & tender proposal in relation to his discipline & the impact/interconnection with scopes of other disciplines
  • Takes instructions from Design Team project manager, architects & engineers as required
  • Makes and records in detail preliminary survey studies & sketches, tender documents, technical specifications etc
  • Generates & checks sketches for CADD operators
  • Maintains records of all important communications within Design Team
  • Visits sites to carry out and records structural and civil surveys, for information collection & verification. In particular he shall accurately record any changes from the original as-built drawings of the facility.
  • Attends meetings with Dar & Design Team project managers & other Design Team members
  • Generates & supervises preparation of drawings & tender documents
  • Participates in QA/QC activities
  • Assists in checking all project drawings & documents
  • Assists the Project Manager in preparation of client presentations
  • Responsible for technical adequacy of all structural & civil engineering drawings & documentation.
